"A Rare Gem, Right on the Beach"
35 Powers is a quaint and comfortable Cape Cod cottage, well-preserved over the decades. It hearkens to a simpler time, yet has all the modern amenities and conveniences. A very well-equipped kitchen, plenty of beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, outdoor shower, kiddie pool, and also great water pressure, easy heating and cooling, laundry, wifi, etc. It is extremely spacious and can accommodate large groups, but also smaller ones while maintaining its cozy and intimate feel. Probably the number one selling point, however, is its incredible location, directly on the beach. It is rare to find such a gem these days, with easy and quick access to the water's edge, yet private and secluded from any crowds. The beach is perfect, with soft white sand and calm, safe seas (except for the occasional storm, which is wonderful and exciting to observe up close from safe inside!). On the other side of the house, the neighborhood is also charming and communal — a lovely place to ride bikes or take walks, with plenty of pretty gardens. The landlord is very accessible and responsive, and will take your needs seriously and address them immediately. All in all, 35 Powers is a perfect spot for a large or small family vacation, a retreat space, or homebase from which to explore any area of the Cape.
Personally, my family and I have been staying at 35 Powers for the last 7 years. It is hard to find anything that can beat the comfort and location. It is easy to feel at home and enjoy the beach, nature, and house itself, and also proximity to other Cape areas. I hope to continue to return year after year!
